Hi

Here you will see loads of different cards which my lovely designer Sarah has designed using kits from this website

You will see how she loves to play around with the kits and using elements of a few kits to create a card

You will also find out how she made the cards, so sit back relax and enjoy what sarah has to offer

Made using  5 minute wonder kit 4.

I didn't use it as the kit but as elements for this card. I printed the tags once, the card twice and then used them as elements.
The paper swirls were made using the backing strip and cutting it into long thin triangles as if you were going to make a paper bead but a thin one.
The silver butterfly was made using a wizard die and piece of silver mirri card.
2 buttons to contrast with the flowers
Once I had all the elements I just had a play and stuck things down when they looked right.
I hope that you like it and that it helps show that yes you can use the kit as it was intended but with a little imagination you can turn it into something else.

Made using  flip card kit 1

I turned this card into a super size card using 2 pieces of A4 card  and 2 pieces of A4 paper and enlarging the kit accordingly.

first you take 1 piece of A4 card and Score it the full length down one side. approximately 3cm.

Take the second piece of card and glue to the first using wet glue as fast drying one as this will give the card a better bond and you will have no fear of tape drying out and the card popping apart at the wrong moment.

Once all dry and set in place but the back piece of card along the length to the same size as the front card so that the edges are now together.

Trim the A4 paper both sheets at the bottom by 1cm. the first sheet one edge requires 3cm trimming and the second required 4cm trimming from the edge.

Take the first piece of A4 paper and fold over 1cm and glue in place at the fold using the 1cm flap and glue to the inside fron of the card.

Take the second piece of A4 paper and glue inside to the front of the card but covering the flap of the first piece so it can not be seen. Doing it this was also means when you open the card the sentiment or verse can be seen straingt away.

Make up the flip card element mount of gold mirri card and place to one side.

Make up the sentiments and place to once side I used peel offs for this but it could be made using a die cutting machine, by hand or what ever you wish.

die cut a buckle I used the wizard die with 6 fashion buckles as it was the size I needed.

Cut 2 strips of card the width that the buckle will take and slide them through the buckle cutting the top on to look like the end of a belt. I used gold mirri card.

Punch a few little circles to make the hole elments of the belt I used a standard hold puch for this one that you can purchase from any stationers.

Now you have all the elements have fun putting it together
